Any tips on using lemon to lighted hair?

I have dirty blonde hair. Any tips?

Any tips on using lemon to lighted hair?

Yes. Lemon juice on hair does lighten up the hair! Here are the steps!

Apply pure lemon juice onto hair, where you want it to get lighter. (Make sure to put generous amount!)

Take a long walk out on a sunny day! The longer your out, the lighter it gets!

You will see instant difference on your hair!

Just apply lemon juice and run your fingers through your hair to spread and even it out. Then lie out in the sun or blow dry, as it's the heat that makes your hair lighter.

OR use Sun-in...you just spray it and comb it in and blow dry or go outside. However, both lemon juice and sun-in can turn your hair orange if your hair is too dark.

Try a test strand of hair first!

Good luck!

Be sure to be out in the sun, because your hair needs the light and heat to lighten.

Lemon juice has a low pH level and is very acidic. When it is combined with oxygen and UV rays, it becomes a bleaching product. Using it too often on healthy hair will make the hair brittle, and it shouldn't be used at all if your hair is chemically treated with dyes or a perm (it could turn brassy or orange-y). But if you do choose to use lemon juice, make sure you dillute it a little. Try taking a tablespoon of lemon juice and a half gallon of water and then pour some into a spray bottle and spray it on your hair before you go outside. After a few days your locks should lighten up! Hope it works out!
