Any tips to make my hair straighten easier?
You sound like myself. I have VERY naturally curly hair. What I use is a straightening balm, I use Redkin Ultra Straight. You also have to watch the ingredients. If it contains water, it won't work on your hair very well and it will wave back up. Try a beauty supply store or salon to get the best straighening balm. Blow dry it straight with a big round brush. Then, if your hair looks dry I use silk drops or Silk Elements spray on my hair then use a straightener, Chi they say works the best but I have an off brand that I purchased from my local beauty supply store and it works just as good. Section your hair, depending on on long it is and spray or apply the drops to your hair, then straighten to your ends. Watch the weather, if it's humid outside your hair will mos def curl up. I've tried many products and still haven't found the right one for that! Hope this helps

Before you style use a styling product formulated for straight hair. VO5 has one, there are several others, but I've used the product mentioned. Then when you blow dry your hair use a round brush and blow dry in sections. Once that's done you can use the flat iron to smooth your hair out.

Use this mousse from Herbal Essenses for straight hair, and then they also have a spray for stick straight hair. After you wash your hair, towel dry it and use the mousse. Then blow dry your hair straight using a brush and put the hair dryer heat on cooler to keep your hair from getting frizzy. Spray on the straight hair spray lightly and then straighten your hair with a really good flat iron. Then spray a little more on. It works really well. The Herbal Essences mousse and spray for straight hair are in a pink bottle with a green lid, I don't know the exact name.
