Hair syling tips?

As of now, my hair is straight and flat.

A while ago, I featured in some photography as a favour to my friend.

This is what it looked like after it got done being styled:

I don't know what I should do to make it look wavy like that again. Using a curling iron would make it too curly and less wavy like in the picture. Any suggestions on how to pull this off?

Also, any other tips you think would look good for my hair would be apprechiated.

Use moose to give your hair some volume. You can apply it to wet hair and just let it dry but don't brush it or else it going to mess it up.

I would wash it and add some moose to it and scrunch it up while blow drying it. It will create waves, but not curls and that is what it looks like you have in this picture.
