Hair growing tips? Help please!?

My hair is 17.5 inches and I want to grow it to about 27 inches. (Don't worry, it's to donate to Locks of Love).

I just wanted to know if there are any tips on keeping my hair healthy and growing it longer.

Thanks a bunch.

Also, any pictures of long hair styles would be great. = ]

Vitamins are good to make it healthy.

I've been told by numerous stylists that the only reason you need a trim is to get rid of split ends and keep a style straightened, it absolutely does not help it grow longer faster.

To grow your hair longer you should buy Garnier Frutis Length %26amp; strength fortifying Shampoo. It will hell fragile, hard- to -grow -long hair. It price ranges from $4.99- $8.99.

Hope It helps! Good Luck!

Usually the best way for it to grow long is also to keep it from having split ends. Always condition your hair after shampoo and when you condition, always rub a little exrta on the ends of your hair. Best shampoo for that is fructis long and strong. And dont be afraid to take a little trim when dealing with dead ends or your hair wont grow at all. i hope i helped

I'm growing my hair to donate too and one of the things that has made the biggest difference is that I stopped using heat on my hair. No blow dryer, no straightening iron, nothing. It's a hard change, but it's made a huge difference! Also, no hair products. They have alcohol in them and that seriously dries out your hair. (None of these are terrible when you get your hair cut regularly, but if you're growing it out, not good.)

I also do a mask-type conditioner (the kind you leave in for five minutes) once a week and take biotin. It's a B vitamin that relates to hair and nail growth. My hair has never looked so great! (Fortunately, I only have about 3 more inches to go. You must have a lot of patience!)
