comb WET hair into sections starting at the nape of the neck, 1 inch sections, comb flat against the skin and cut in straight line, thats your base for the cut, take the next 1inch section above the first one and cut 1mm longer than the 1st section that was cut and so on, until all cut, to ensure both sides are even, stand behind the client and take a piece of hair from the top of each ear and run fingers dwon from the root to tip making sure the fingers end at the tip on both sides at the same time. x

wash your hair, leave it pretty wet, comb it down from where you want the part and have someone cut it for you. theyll be able to get a straigther cut than you will.

Dont wet the hair, the hair fibres will expand. Most top hairdressers will cut the hair clean and dry. If you have long hair tie it into a straight low ponytail at the nape of your neck and cut it tied up. Then release the pony tail and trim using ur hairdressing sissors and fine tooth comb running the hair inbetween ur fingers horizontally. You will probably be best of doing the front and sides yourself but separate the back from the sides using ur ears as a guide and let someone else trim the back. Hope this helps and makes sense.

separate the hair from ear to ear this is where you will start

1 get the person to look down to there feet take in very small sections and cut hair just below the hair line when doing this make sure you are standing strait legs apart

2 take your next section make sure the person does not look up and follow the line made from the first section keep going until you reach the top

3 stand to the side again take small sections take a little of the hair from the back as a Gide and cut in a straight line do the same other side

4 ifyou want to round the bob start at the back take the hair directly strait out from the head and you will notice a curve at the end just cut in a straight line and do through out hair and you will have a Small layer at the bottom
